Where does this data come from?

SOFR data is pulled directly from the Federal Reserve Bank of New York's public Markets Data API. SONIA data is pulled directly from the Bank of England's public Interactive Statistical Database (IADB). Neither requires an API key or paid subscription — both are official government sources.

How far back does the historical chart go?

SOFR history starts April 3, 2018, its first published date. SONIA history under its reformed methodology starts April 23, 2018.
